I went to an art gallery and then suddenly felt the need to paint with acrylic. I originally was going to paint an illustration but ended up going abstract instead. It was art therapy. I just wanted to express my feelings somewhere, somehow.

I wanted to paint my shower curtain. I was going to use acrylic paint and mix it with fabric medium.
I even bought the shower curtain and had bashed together a plan for what I wanted to paint.
But I realized it was going to be back breaking (and my back isn’t great at the moment) because of how big it was going to be.
So I tried painting the design on a small bag instead and I struggled hard with that.
I then tried painting on regular acrylic paper, but it didn’t go well either. I took a picture and I edited it digitally to figure out colours.
Which was when I realised I wasn’t good enough with acrylic paint to pull it off.
So this is on pause for now.
I think I’ll go digital for this illustration till I get better with traditional paint.
I realised this needs context. The cat in the painting is supposed to be my cat. Hue.
